Jeannie Watt

Biography

Jeannie Watt started writing in high school, shortly after she read Gone With the Wind while she was supposed to be studying for her driver’s ed test. She discovered Harlequin Romances in college and often read one a night while she was supposed to be studying calculus or chemistry. Jeannie did pass her driver’s ed test, and she graduated from college with degrees in education and geology. She also continued to read and write romance every chance she got.

After years of writing chapters one through three of many, many books, Jeannie began to seriously pursue publication after her kids started high school. Her second completed manuscript, A Difficult Woman, sold to Harlequin SuperRomance in 2006.

Jeannie lives off the gird in an historic ranching and mining area in northern Nevada with her husband and many horses, ponies and assorted small animals. When she’s not writing or teaching science, she makes glass mosaic mirrors, reads and sews. She enjoys running and tries to run at least five 10Ks and/or half marathons a year.
