And for Tom, the call couldn’t have come at a better time. Having been fired from his latest job, the temperamental chef has been blacklisted and needs time out of the public eye in order to let the furor over his latest high jinks die down. Fortunately, time spent at his ex’s catering company helps him find himself again. Watt’s novel offers witty dialogue, quirky characters and a story filled with wonderful detail.
